Connecting an Audio Amplifier
Connect the VARiable AUDIO OUT jacks to the auxiliary
input jacks on the stereo amplifier.
You can control the audio
level using the Remote Control for this TV.

Turn the TV and the stereo amplifier
ON.
Adjust the VOLUME buttons
on the TV for a moderate
listening
level.
Disconnect
the built-in
speakers following
the instruc-
tions at the right.
Adjust the volume
control on the stereo amplifier
for
a moderate
listening
level.
Control
of the audio can now be done using the
VOLUME and MUTE buttons
on the Remote Control
of the TV, and using the Audio menu items (BASS,
TREBLE and BALANCE).

Press AUD repeatedly
until "SPEAKERS"
is
displayed
in magenta
in
the Audio
menu.

Press - or + until "OFF" is
displayed
in magenta.
The built-in
speakers will
be disconnected.
