Programming Channel Memory

Th'e channel memory is the list of'IV channel numbers your "IV will stop on when you press the CHANNEL A or Y button.
First.;-use the "FV/CABLE and CH PROGRAM functions to preset all active channels in your area automatically.
If necessary, arrange the preset channels with the ADD/ERASE functions so that you can tune into only desi "ed channels.
Note: If you utilize both ANT-1 and ANT-2 terminals, perform programming channels for each input source.

Press POWER to turn on the TV.
Press SET UP on the Remote Control (or
MENU on the TV) to display the Setup
menu,
Press SET UP repeatedly (or ADV on the
TV) until "FV/CABLE" is displayed in
magenta.
Press - or + until the mode that corre-
sponds to your TV signal system is
displayed in magenta.
Each time you press the button, the TV*,
STD CABLE*, HRC CABLE* or IRC CA-
BLE* mode will be selected in order.
1 Select "CH PROGRAM" following steps 2
and 3 above.

1. TV: "IVbroadcasts signals.
(VHF channels 2 through 13 and
UHF channels 14t_rough 69) o

signals.

cable TV signals. "
4. IRC CABLE: Incrementa_ Related
Carrier cable TV signals.
If you are not sure what CABLE system
they are using, consult your local cable

connpany.
Press - or + to start channel program-
ming.
The TV will automatically cycle through
all the TV or CABLE channels on the
mode selected by the TV/CABLE function,
and store active channels in the channel
memory.
When channel programming is complete,
you will see the message at the right.
