Insert a sourcedisc.
Press DVDto operate the DVD recorder.
Press TOP MENU or TITLELIST to select a
title.
Start playing the DVD, andthen press•
STOPor II PAUSEat the pointwhere you
want to start dubbing.
To select DVD sound, language, (>1" subtitle,
press AUDIO or SUBTITLE during playback
(see page 36).
Press DVD -* on the recorder.
Dubbing starts.
To stop dubbing
Press • STOP.
Note that it may take a li:w seconds tk)rthe
recorder to stop dubbing.

Select "Simple Dubbing," and press ENTER.

• The brightness of the playback pictu re may differ from
normal DVD phuback picture.
• The DVD playback time may differ slightly from the
VHS tape counter wdue.
• The sound being played back (main, sub, etc.) is the
dtlbbed sound.
• Dubbing slops when:
Ihe DVD is played back to the end and stops.
Ihe DVD deck or Ihe VHS _ideo deck is stopped.
Ihe tape remaining lilne runs oul.
• The System Menu OPTIONS menu, and information
display are not displayed during dubbing.

(Program Dubbing)
You can selecl titles or scenes from a DVD, and
dub tile contents 1o a VHS tape all at once.

safety tabin place.
To select Ihe recording mode, SP or EP, press
RE(7 MODE repeatedly (see page 75).
2 PressDVDandinserta source disc.
To selecl DVD sound, language, or subtitle.
press AUDIO or SUBTITLE during playback
(see page 36).
PressSYSTEM MENU.
Tile System Menu appears.

Select "Dubbing," and press ENTER.

The display asks tk)r confirmation.
Select "Yes," and press ENTER.
Dubbing starts.
