Adjusting response time

The user operating the client PC may want to adjust the time out interval. The
time out interval is the number of seconds that the client waits before
communicating with the server.
To adjust the response time:

Stopping communication

The connection between the client PC and the server PC may be closed at any
time from either PC. To stop communications:
From the server PC—In the Extron Server Software, from the Server menu, select

Enter the IP Address and Port number of the server PC.

Click OK. The connection is visible in the main window.

Click OK again. The client PC can now be used to control the switcher.
From the Communications menu, select Response Time Out.
Select the appropriate time out interval for your network (4–12 seconds).
Selecting a longer interval does not slow down client-server communication.
Close Connection.
