Locking out the front panel (Executive mode)

The front panel lock (Executive mode) limits the operation of the matrix switcher
from the front panel. When the switcher is locked, all of the front panel functions
are disabled except for the View-Only mode functions. See Viewing a confi guration
on page 3-15. Other than in View-Only mode, if the user pushes a front panel
output button when the switcher is locked, the RGBHV and Audio LEDs fl ash
twice and return to their previous state.
To toggle the front panel lock on or off, press and hold the RGBHV button and the
Audio button for approximately two seconds (fi gure 3-52).

toggle the front panel lock on or off.

Performing a system reset from the front panel

The front panel reset is identical to the
Programmer's Guide). A system reset:
Reset the switcher to the factory default settings by pressing and holding the
RGBHV button and Audio button while you apply AC power to the switcher
(fi gure 3-53).
N System reset does not replace user-installed fi rmware.
Press and hold the RGBHV and Audio
buttons while you apply power to the switcher.
The switcher's LEDs flash and then go dark.
Continue to hold the RGBHV and Audio buttons until all input and output
LEDs return to the unlit state and the RGBHV and Audio LEDs turn on.
Release the RGBHV and Audio buttons.
