You can turn the camera operation beep on or off, or change its volume.
By default, all available items are set to _ (On), and the volume level is
set to [3]. The following six items can be set.
• In-focus
• AE-L (AE Lock operation sound)
• Self-timer
• Remote Control
• One Push File Format (operation sound when [One Push File Format]
is assigned to the _) button)
• Press OK for 1 sec. (operation sound when changing AF point is
enabled or disabled)

Select [Beep] in the [_ Set-up 1] menu and press the four-
way controller (•).
The [Beep 1] screen appears.
Press the four-way controller (•) and use the four-way
controller ( 4 • ) to adjust the volume.
Selectfrom six levels. When set to 0, you can turn all the beeps off.
Use the four-way controller (• • )
to select an item.
Turn the e-dial to display the [Beep2]
screen.

Use the four-way controller (4 •) to select _ (On) or
[] (Off).
Press the MENU button twice.
The screen thatwas displayed before selecting the menu appears again.
