By changing the shutter speed, you can manipulate how time is expressed in the pictures you create.

    • Opening the aperture (reduce the aperture value) Objects closer and farther than the focused subject will be more out of focus. For instance, if you take a picture of a flower against a landscape with the aperture open, the landscape in front and behind the flower will be blurred, emphasizing only the flower.

    Setting the Sensitivity You can set the sensitivity to suit the brightness of the surroundings. The sensitivity can be set to [AUTO] or within a sensitivity range equivalent to ISO 200 to 12800. The default setting is [AUTO]. Press the four-way controller (•) in Capture mode.
