This receiver has a built in decoder that provides a visual depiction of the audio portion of a television
program in the form of written words across the screen (white or colored letters on a black background), it
atlows the viewer to read the diatogue of a television program or other information.
CAPTION MODE
Activates the On=Screen Closed Caption feature. When activated this feature will
remain on until OFF is selected in this menu.
Press the MENU button to display the MENU screen.

Closed Caption Modes from which to Choose
Caption Mode: CAP Cl or C2
A narration of selected TV programs is displayed.
Check TV program listings for C. C. (Closed Caption) broadcasts.
Caption Mode: TEXT Cl or C2
The screen will be blocked out. When the TV station broadcasts information,
such as program listings, it will appear in this space.
Caption Mode: OFF
Closed Caption/Text narration will not be displayed.
