II Movie Settings
Use the Movie settings option in the shooting
menu to choose movie quality,
sound, destination,
and manual movie settings options.
• Movie quality: Choose from frame sizes of _ 1920 x 1080, _ 1280 x 720, and
640 x 424 and from * high and normal quality.
The frame rate depends on the
option currently
selected for Video mode in the setup menu (_ 237):

• Microphone:
Turn the built-in or external microphone
on or off or to adjust
microphone
sensitivity.
Selecting Microphone
off turns sound recording
off;
selecting
any other option turns recording
on and sets the microphone
to the
selected sensitivity.
• Destination:
To record movies to the memory
card in Slot I, select Slot 1. Select Slot 2 to
record movies to the card in Slot 2. The menu
shows the time available on each card;
recording
ends automatically
when no time
remains.
• Manual
movie settings: Choose On to allow manual adjustments
to shutter
speed and ISO sensitivity
when the camera is in mode M. Shutter speed can be
I
chosen from values between
/8,000s and 1/30s, ISO sensitivity from values between
ISO I O0 and Hi 2 (_ 101). Note that ISO sensitivity is fixed at the value selected; the
camera does not adjust ISO sensitivity automatically
when On is selected for ISO
sensitivity
settings > Auto ISO sensitivity
control in the shooting
menu
(_ 103). Exposure compensation
is not available.
