Oil
Theengineis shippedwithoutoil in theengine.Youmustfill the
enginewith oil beforeoperating.Runningthe enginewith insufficient
oil can causeseriousenginedamageand void the productwarranty.

Removetheoil fillercap/dipstickand wipethe dipstickclean. See
Figure3.

ADJUSTMENTS
Chute Assembly
The pitch of thechute assemblycontrolstheangle at whichthe snow
isthrown.
1.
Loosenthewing knobfoundon the left sideof the chuteassem-
blyand pivot the upperchute upwardor downwardto the desired
pitch.Retightenthe wingknobbeforeoperatingthesnow thrower.

Slowlyadd oil untilthe oil level registersbetweenhigh (H) and low
(L) on thedipstick,Figure4. Referto the Serviceand Mainte-
