Connect
one RCA audio cable to the AUDIO
OUTPUT
terminal
on the other VCR.
Connect
the other
end of this cable to the
AUDIO
INPUT
terminal
on the HS-U510
labeled
L/MONO.
If the other VCR is mono,
this is the only audio connection
necessary.
If the other VCR has stereo outputs,
connect
another
RCA audio cable to the AUDIO
OUTPUT
terminal
of the playback
VCR.
Connect
the other end of this cable to the
AUDIO INPUT
terminal
on the HS-U510
(labeled
R).
Connect
a video cable to the VIDEO
OUTPUT
terminal
on the playback
VCR.
Connect
the other
end of this cable to the
VIDEO
INPUT
terminal
on the HS-U510
• (labeled
VIDEO IN 2).

If the other VCR is a Hi-Fi deck, set the
audio monitor
to "STEREO."

If you attached
the connection
cables to the
back of the HS-U510,
use the INPUT button
to set the HS-U510
to External
1 (L1). If you
attached
the connection
cables to the front
of the HS-U510,
use the INPUT button
to
set the HS-U510
to External
2 (L2).
Put a blank
tape into the HS-U510
and find
the place where you want to begin recording.
Press
STOP.
Put the tape you want to copy into the other
VCR and find the place from which you want
to begin copying. Press STOP.

On the HS-U510,
press REC, then PAUSE.
On the other VCR, press PLAY, then PAUSE.
Release
the PAUSE button
on both VCRs at
the same time.

When finished,
press STOP on both VCRs.
