Read this Operator'sManual and safety rules beforeoperating yourgenerator.
Compare the illustrations with your generator, to familiarize yourself with the locations of various controls and
adjustments. Save this manual for future reference.
A - FuelTank -- Capacity of four and a half (4.5) U.S.
gallons.
B - Oil Fill Cap/Dipstick-- Checkand add engine oil here.
C- Fuel Valve--
Used to turn fuel supply on and off to
engine.
D - Oil Drain Plug -- Drain engine oil here.
E - Spark ArrestorMuffler -- Exhaust muffler lowers engine
noise and is equipped with a spark arrestor screen.
F - Rocker Switch -- Set this switch to run (I) before using
recoil starter. Set switch to stop (0) to stop engine.
G - ChokeLever-
Used when starting a cold engine.
H - Engine Identification -- Provides model, type and code
of engine. Pleasehave these readily available if calling for
assistance.
J - Air Cleaner -- Protects engine by filtering dust and
debris out of intake air.
K - Recoil Starter -- Used to start the engine.
L - Data Tag - Provides model, revision and serial number
of generator. Pleasehavethese readily available if calling
for assistance.
M - GroundingFastener -- If required, pleaseconsult a
qualified electrician, electrical inspector, or local agency
having jurisdiction.
N - Idle ControlSwitch -- Use this switch to turn the idle
control feature on and off.
P - 12 Volt DC Receptacle -- Use this receptaclewith
battery charge cables to charge a 12 Volt battery.
R - 120 Volt AC, 20 Amp Duplex Receptacle-- May be
used to supply electrical power for the operation of
120 Volt AC, 20 Amp, single phase, 60 Hz electrical
lighting, appliance, tool and motor loads.
S - 120 Volt AC, 30 Amp LockingReceptacle -- May be
used to supply electrical power for the operation of
120 Volt AC, 30 Amp, single phase, 60 Hz electrical
lighting, appliance, tool and motor loads.
T - 120/240 Volt AC, 20 Amp LockingReceptacle-- May
be used to supply electrical power for the operation of
120 and/or 240 Volt AC, 20 Amp, single phase, 60 I-Iz
electrical lighting, appliance, tool and motor loads.
V - GFCl CircuitBreaker-- A GFCIcircuit breaker is
provided to protect against electrical ground fault and
protect the generator against electrical overload.
W - Hour Meter-
Displays and records how many hours
your generator has run (up to 9,999.9).
