on and off?
There has been a power failure, Press STOP/CLEAR to clear
the display. Reset the clock, if needed, See "Clock" section,
Is the display showing "Loc"
and a cooktop icon?
The Cooktop Lockout feature is engaged, See "Cooktop

Is the display showing "F" followed
by a number?
Press STOP/CLEAR to clear the display. If an "F" code
reappears, contact a Sears trained repair specialist, See back
cover.
Is the display showing
a "EO F5"?
The Self-Cleaning
latch is interfering with the oven door
closing.
If the oven door is open, press STOP/CLEAR to clear display,
then depress and hold door switch plunger for 6 seconds
(located in the upper right corner of the oven front) and the
oven door will unlock.
If the oven door is locked, press STOP/CLEAR to clear the
display then apply pressure to the upper right corner of the
oven door and the door will unlock.
Self-Cleaning
Cycle will not operate
Is the oven door open?
Close the oven door all the way.
Has START been pressed?
Press START.
Has a delay start been set?

Cooktop cooking results not what expected
Is the proper cookware being used?

Was the oven preheated?
Wait for oven to preheat before placing food in oven.

Is the batter evenly distributed in the pan?
Check to make sure batter is level in the pan.

Decrease oven temperature

Use aluminum foil to cover the edge of the crust and/or
reduce baking temperature.
