Extending battery life
SeeAuto PowerOff (seepage 26).
Limit the following activitiesthat quicklydepletebattery power:
- Reviewingyour pictureson the LCD(seepage 12)
- Excessive useof the flash
Dirt on the batterycontactscan affect batterylife. Wipe the contactswith a clean,
dry cloth beforeloading batteriesin the camera.
Batteryperformanceis reducedat temperaturesbelow41° F (5° C). Whenusing
yourcamerain coldweather,carrysparebatteriesand keepthem warm. Donot
discardcold batteriesthat do not work; when they return to room temperature,
they may be usable.

KodakwarrantsKodakconsumerelectronicproductsand accessories ("Products"),
excludingbatteries,to be free from malfunctionsand defectsin both materialsand
workmanshipfor one yearfrom the date of purchase. R etainthe original dated sales
receipt.Proofof the date of purchase will be requiredwith anyrequestfor warranty
repair.
Limited warranty coverage
Warrantyserviceis only availablefrom within the countrywherethe Productswere
originallypurchased.Youmay be requiredto ship Products,at your expense, t o the
authorizedservicefacility for the countrywherethe Productswerepurchased.Kodak
will repair or replaceProductsif they fail to function properlyduringthe warranty
period,subjectto anyconditionsand/or limitationsstated herein.Warrantyservice
will includeall labor aswell as anynecessary a djustmentsand/orreplacement p arts.If
Kodakis unableto repair or replacea Product,Kodakwill, at its option, refundthe
purchasepricepaid for the Productprovidedthe Producthas beenreturnedto Kodak
