The oven burner flame should be a clean, blue
flame with distinct inner cones approximately 1/2
inch long. A soft, lazy flame with indistinct cones
means too much gas or not enough air. A noisy
lifting flame means too much air.

First loosen tile lock s(rew located at tile top
of tl_eair shutter, tllen rotate tile air shutter
to the correct setting, and retighten screw.

Oven burner flame can be checked as
follows (without burner baffle in place):

The air shutter should be set approximately
2/3 open ti)r natural gas, and approximately
fifll open on I_t _ gas.
