STORAGE
Before storing:
• Empty Clean Water Solution Tank and rinse thoroughly with clean water.
. Replace empty Clean Water Solution Tank and turn carpet cleaner ON. Squeeze trigger and push
carpet cleaner
forward
and back several times to expel any solution
remaining
in the carpet
cleaner's system. (Do not use carpet cleaner on wood floors.)
• Empty Dirty Water Tank and rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Allow brushes and underside
of carpet cleaner to air dry thoroughly
before storing carpet cleaner on a
carpeted or wood surface.
Do not store carpet cleaner with a full Clean Water Solution Tank in place.
LUBRICATION
The motor is equipped v,4th bearings that contain sufficient lubrication for the life of the motor_ The addition
of lubricant could cause damage. Therefore, do not add Iubdcant to motor bearings.
If a minor problem
occurs, it usually can be solved quite easily When'the
cause is found by using the
checklist below.
Any other servicing
should be done by an authorized service representative.
A WARNING ,&
To reduce risk of personal injury - unplug cleaner before servicing.
PROBLEM
Cleaner won't run.
Low suction.
Clean Water
Solution Tank
won't dispense.
Brushes/brush
indicator won't
rotate during floor
cleaning.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
1. Dirty Water Tank full/
automatic shut off engaged.
3. Dirty Water Tank lid noton
correctly.
1. Clean Water Solution Tank
3, Dirty Water Tank lid not on
correctly.
POSSIBLE SOLUTION
I. Remove and empty Dirty Water Tank.
3. Make sure lid is on securely (p.9).
