Placethe CYLINDERRETAINERWIRE(77) over the CylinderCollar. See detail 16.B
Attaching TYPE1 fitting to the fuel outlet valvein detail 16-C.
16.A Set CYLINDER(79) in the cylindercaddy
with the outlet valve facing the front of the
grill.
IMPORTANT!
To ENSURE PROPER GAS FLOW, BURNER
CONTROL VALVES MUST BE
"OFF"
BEFORE
OPENING THE GAS CYLINDER VALVE,
16-B Placethe CYLINDERRETAINERWIRE(77)
over the Cylinder collar,by rotatingthewire
from the originalpositiontowardthe cylinder
collar.
/_ WARNING: Durtngassemblyof
grill and when attachingor replacingthe
L.P.gas cylinder,insurethat the gas
supplyhose is free of kinks and/or
damageand is at least 3" away from hot
surfacessuch as the grill casting.
16-C Insertthe TYPE1 nipple ofthe regulator(27)
into the cylinder'sfuel valveoutlet as shown.
Turntheregulatorhandwheelclockwise to
tighten. Notoolsare needed. The Hand
wheelwillcometo a complete stopwhenthe
connection issecureand gaswillnotflowuntil
a positive seal is achieved.
