WARNING: Before attempting to mount the auger housing assembly to the tractor's front end,
place the tractor on a firm and level surface. Place the PTO in the disengaged (OFF) position, stop
the tractor engine and set the parking brake.
1. Position the auger housing assembly in front of the tractor as shown in Figure 7.
2. Pull the support pin on the left side of the upper lift link outward and rotate it slightly so it remains in the "out"
position. See Figure 7.
3. Repeat step above on the right side of the housing.
It will be necessary to have a second person assist you to complete the following procedure.
IMPORTANT:
4. Grasp the auger housing support bar, refer to Figure 5, on the left rear (have a second person grasp the support
bar on the right rear) portion of the auger housing and lift upward until the hooks found on the rear of the lift
assembly are positioned over the shoulder bolts found on both (left & right) of the tractor's front pivot support
brackets.
5. Grasp the upper portion of the auger housing and pivot the assembly upward until the holes of the support pins
align with holes in the tractor's front pivot support bracket.
6. Pull the support pin on the right side of the auger housing outward and rotate it slightly until it aligns with the hole
on the side of the front pivot support bracket. Release the pin to lock it in place. See Figure 7.
7. Repeat the previous step on the left side.

NOTE: The front right wheel assembly is NOT shown
in this illustration for clarity. It does NOT need to be
removed to mount the snowthrower attachment.
1. Fasten the right support tube to the rear of the auger assembly as shown in Figure 8 with the shoulder bolt, flat
washers and hex nut provided. Tighten securely.
2. Repeat the previous step on the left side.
