NOTE:Therefrigerator is shipped with protective film covering the temperature controls.
If this film was not removed during installation, remove it now.
The temperature controls are preset in the factory at 37°F for the refrigerator
compartment and O°F for the freezer compartment. Allow 24 hours for the temperature
to stabilize to the preset recommended settings.
The temperature controls can display both the SET temperature as well as the actual
temperature in the refrigerator and freezer. The actual temperature may vary slightly
from the SET temperature based on usage and operating environment.
Setting either or both controls to OFF stops cooling in both the freezer and refrigerator
compartments, but does not shut off electrical power to the refrigerator.
Changing the Temperature
For Controls-on-the-Door Models:
Modelswith ExternalDispensers:
Tochangethe Refrigeratortemperature:
Access By: Home> Refrigerator
Activate By:Usingthe arrowsto selectthe desired
temperature. Y oumust pressENTER to setthe new
temperature.
Tochangethe Freezer t emperature:
Access By: Home> Freezer
Activate By:Usingthe arrowsto selectthe desired
temperature. Y oumust pressENTER to setthe new
temperature.
Oncethe desired temperaturehas beenset,the displagwill
returnto the HOME screenand showthe set temperatures
underneaththe actualtemperaturedisplayfor several
seconds. S everal a djustmentsmagbe required.Eachtime
gou adjustthe controls, a llow2/4hoursfor the refrigerator
to reachthetemperaturegou haveset.
For Controls Inside the Refrigerator:
Opening the door displags the actualtemperature. T o
changethe temperature, p resseitherthe WARMER or
COLDER touch padsuntilthe desiredtemperatureis
displaged.
Oncethedesiredtemperaturehasbeenset,the
temperaturedisplagwill returnto the actualrefrigerator
and freezertemperatures after 5 seconds. S everal
adjustmentsmag be required.
Eachtime gou adjustcontrols, a llow2/4hoursfor the
refrigeratorto reachthetemperaturegou haveset.
Toturn thecooling systemoff,tap the WARMER padfor
eitherthe refrigeratoror the freezeruntilthe displagshows
OFF. T oturn the unit back an, pressthe COLDER p ad for
eitherthe refrigeratoror freezer. T henpresstheCOLDER
pad again andit willgo to the presetpointsof O°F for the
freezerand 37°Fforthe refrigerator. S ettingeitheror both
controlsto OFFstopscoolingin boththe freezer and
refrigeratorcomportments, b ut doesnot shut off electrical
powerto the refrigerator.
