NOTE:
In order
to reach
full
orbital
action,

blade
MUST

guide
rollers.
The
base
must
be all the
way
in the
forward
position.
Orbital
action
is not
observable
when
the
saw
is free-running.
The
saw
must
be cutting
for
orbital
action
to occur.
The
speed
of cut
is easier
to see
in thicker
materials.

BLADE
GUIDE
ROLLERS
FOR
SCROLLING
(Fig.
14, 15 and
16)
NOTE:
The
blade
guide
rollers
must
support
the
blade
in all cutting
operations
of the
saw
except
when
scrolling.
When
scrolling,
the
blade
should
rotate
freely
(swivel)
and
should
not
come
into
contact
with
the
blade
guide
rollers.
In the
scrolling
mode
always
move
the
base
back
and
the
blade
guide
rollers
up and
away
from
the
blade.
The
blade
is released
to swivel
in the
SCROLLING
position
and
if the
blade
is held
with
the
guide
rollers
it could
bend
and
break.
