Unpacking
and Checking
Contents
Separate
all "loose"
parts from
packaging
materials
and
check
each
item with
"Table
of Loose
Parts"
to make
sure all items are accounted
for,
before
discarding
any
packing
material°
If any
parts are missing,
do not attempt
to assemble
the
radial
saw, plug
in the power
cord,
or turn
the switch
on until
the missing
parts are obtained
and are installed
correctly.

REMOVE SKIDS FROM BASE
MOUNT SAW TO CRAFTSMAN
BASE OR
LEG SET, OR FLAT BENCH
Make sure elevation crank is free to rotate. The saw must be
bolted down° Position your entire saw (or saw bench) to
slope slightly
rearward, so the carriage will not roll forward
due to gravity°
