On/Off
Switch
The on/off switch turns the power
to the saw
on and off.
To turn the saw on, put the yellow key into
the red switch and then pull the switch to the
right. To turn the saw off, push the red switch
to the left. Remove
the yellow key. from the
red switch whenever
the saw is turned
off, and
keep it out of the reach and sight of children.

WARNING:
The saw can start ac-
cidentally
or be used by children
and
others
when the yellow
key is left in the
red switch.
Always
remove
the yellow
key when the saw is off, and keep it out
of the reach
and sight of children.

WARNING:
The saw will start
im-
mediately
when the power
comes
back
on after a blackout
if the red switch is
left on. Always
turn the switch off and
remove
the yellow key when the power
goes off for any reason.
Miter
Lock
The miter lock is used to hold the radial arm
at various angles to the fence.
To unlock
the miter lock, pull the lock to the
right. (Figure
26)
