Cleaningthe Drain Filter,Spray Arm and Filter Plate
We recommendthe drainfilter to be cleanedwheneverthereis
evidenceof food particles. T hefilter plateis designed to be self
cleaning,butfood scrapsmay accumulate. T hesprayarmandfilter
plate mayneed cleaningaboutoncea month in normaluseor more
often, shouldthe needarise.
Cleaning the Drain Filter
1. Lift up the drainfilter access
panel,if fitted on the basket.
2. Lift andremovethe drainfilter
out of the DishDrawer''.
3. Empty, r inseunderclean
runningwater andreplaceback
into the allocatedspace.
4. Ensure the drainfilter is flush
with the filter plate.
1. Remove the basketcarefully.
Lift from the backendfirst so
that youdo not knockthe
detergentand rinseagent
dispenser.
2. Lift the sprayarmand shake
anyforeignmaterialout.
3. Rinse the sprayarm under
water and wipe the sprayarm
with a dampcloth.
4. Replace the sprayarm back
ontothe impeller.
1. Ensure the DishDrawer'_is cool beforeyoustart cleaningand
follow the instructionsfor removingthe drainfilter and sprayarm.
2. Inthe center of the filter plate,there aretwo rings. Holdthe center
ring still and turn the outerring counter-clockwise, abouta 1/8 turn.
This will releasethe filter plate.
3. Whencleaningthe underside of the filter plate, caremust be taken
on the sharpouteredgeto avoidthe riskof cut type injuries.
4. Remove anysoil, wash in hot soapywater and rinsethoroughly in
cleanwater.Theheaterplatecanbe wipedwith a dampcloth.
5. Replace the filter plateso it lies flat in the baseof the
DishDrawe¢ _ ensuringthe filter plateis fully lockedintopositionwith
the centerring.
6. Tolockthe filter plate intoposition,ensurethe linesalignwith each
other (referto the diagramfor the correctposition).Thefilter plate
must not be ableto move aboutfreely.
