Monitor Settings
Press the MENU button ") V tab ([_]I I ) ") Monitor settings
Option Description
Photo info Select information displayed on tile monitor during shooting and
playback modes.
On (default setting): Picture is displayed on the monitor immediately
Image review after shooting and the monitor display returns to shooting screen.
Off: Picture is not displayed immediately after shooting.
Choose from five settings to select the monitor brightness. The
Brightness default setting is 3.
On : Histograms are displayed in the shooting mode even when the
View/hide
exposure compensation is not being set (_6, 68).
histograms Off (default setting): Histograms are not displayed.
Note on View/hide Histograms
Histograms are not displayed in the _llowing situations.
• When recording a movie
• When the enlarged center of the picture is displayed in MF (manual focus)
• When the flash mode, sel_timer or focus mode menu is displayed
• When borders for face detection ([]_]80) are displayed
• When the subject tracking is being activated in AF area mode
Photo info
Select whether or not the photo information is displayed on the monitor.
See "The Monitor" (_6) for more information on indicators displayed on the
monitor.

Playback mode
The same information as in Show info is displayed. If no operations are
aerformed after a few seconds, the display will be the same as Hide info.The
nformation is displayed again when an operation is performed.
