It is possible to reduce the recorded picture
size. This function is useful if you want to
reduce the volume of the picture for attaching
to an e-mail or uploading on web-site.

[Preparations]
• Set the operational mode dial to playback [r_-]].
• Play back the picture for which you want to
change the size. (Note: for picturesin a size
lower than [640 x 480] or with an aspect ratio
that is not 4:3, it is not possibleto resize)

Press the [MENU] button.

Press klV to select [RESIZE] and
then press I_.

Press Air to select the size.
• [] :1600x 1200
• _ :1120x840
• r-_ : 640 × 480

Press the [REVIEW/SET] button to set
the size.
5 When this message is displayed
"DELETE ORIGINAL PICTURE?",
press AIr to select [YES] or [NO].
6 Press the [REVIEW/SE'r] button.
7 Press the [MENU] button.
• The menu willdisappear.
• It may not be possibleto resize the pictures
recorded with other equipments.
• Motion images or TIFF pictures cannot be
resized or pictures cannot be enlarged.
