Press the [MENU] button.

Press A/Y to select [QUALITY].
3 Press <1/1_ to select the quality (Data
Compression Ratio).
• _ : TIFF (No compression)
Suitable when editingand processing
pictures with editing/retouching software.
• _ : Fine (Low compression)
It gives priority to picture quality to record
high quality pictures.
• _ : Standard
(Standard compression)
It gives priority to the number of recordable
pictures and records standard quality
pictures.

Press the [MENU] button.
• The menu willdisappear,
• In AUTO mode [r'_l], you cannot select TIFF [[_Y__ ].
• In motion image mode [_], quality cannot be modified.
• It may happen that pictures appear like a mosaic depending on the scene characteristics.
• The number of recordable pictures corresponds to the capacity of the supplied 16MB SD
Memory Card. (If you mix fine quality and standard quality, the number of recordable
pictures changes)
• Remaining frame which is displayed on the LCD monitor may not correspond with recorded
frames, however, this is not a malfunction.
