9. Enable the Software Modules

The HP NAS 8000 solution includes the following software modules:
Virus scanning
I
Local backup agent (for use with the optional tape library)
I
Snapshots (for fast access to previous versions of files)
I
Use the Applications Tab to verify that all software modules are installed and to enable them:
1. Select the Applications Tab to view a list of all installed software modules.
If one of the software modules is not installed, contact HP support for the installation file and
instructions.
2. Enable the anti-virus and backup modules if you plan to use them:
— Click on the name of the module under the Installed Software folder.
— Select Actions > Enable/Disable Application.
Note Snapshots are enabled by default.

3. Click Yes when prompted to enable the application.
