Server Side Log

To view the server side log:
1. In Command View NAS, click the Support tab.
2. Under Diagnostics and Tools, select Command View Logs > Server Side.
3. Select the log file of interest, then select Actions > Export Selected File.
4. A dialog box allows you to save the file. To view the file, check the View Text

Viewing the System Logs

You can view hardware and software system messages by viewing the system
logs.
To view the system logs:
1. In Command View NAS, click the Support tab.
2. Under Diagnostics and Tools, select System Log. The available log files are
3. Select the log file of interest, then select Actions > Export Selected File.
4. A dialog box allows you to save the file. To view the file, check the View Text

messages.log.1, messages.log.2, and so on. View these files to see old system
messages.

Viewing the High Availability Log

To view the high availability log:
1. In the Command View NAS, click the Support tab.
2. Under Diagnostics and Tools, select High Availability Log.
3. Select a log file associated with an HA package, then select Actions > Export
4. A dialog box allows you to save the file. To view the file, check the View Text
The available log files are listed.
