  • Page 12 ALIGNING RIP FENCE The fence should slide easily along the bars and always remain in alignment (parallel to sawblade and miter gauge grooves). The alignment is ,maintained by a spring underneath fence which bears against the front guide bar. To move the fence, loosen the lock handle and grasp the fence with one hand at the front, For very close adjustments, grasp the guide bar wi;_h both hands and move the fence with your thumbs.
