Leveling Front Table.
The
goal
of this adjustment
is to make
the
front
work
table
flat and parallel
to the radial
arm.
In order
to do this, you will choose
four
points
on the table.
When
these
four
points
are level,
the entire
table
should
be level.
You
will use two
methods
to make
the four
points
level:
1. Loosen
the three
leveling
screws
and be
sure
that
the five mounting
screws
are snug
but not
overtightened.
2. Raise
the radial arm until the bottom
of
the motor is about
2-1/2 inches above the
front
table.
3. Unlock the bevel lock to release the motor.
Hold onto the motor as you do this.
_1_ CAUTION:
The motor is heavy and
can swing down quickly.
You can be cut
or injured
if the arbor shaft hits you.
Hold the motor when you unlock the
bevel lock.
4. Turn the motor until the arbor shaft is
pointing
straight
down toward
the table.
