If the engine will notstop, hold a screwdriver againstthe sparkplugand againstthe engine coolingfins.The sparkwill go to groundand the enginewill stop.

If the soil is to wet, dirt becomes packed around the blade causing prema- ture belt wear and decreased partor- mancs. • If dirt does become packed around the blade, stop the engine and remove the wire from the spark plug.
