IMPORTANT:
Your VCR must be turned off when you're
not using it.
Also, be sure you have inserted a blank
videotape in the VCR.

Press RECORD to see a Recording Pop-up. Notice
that the yellow highlight bar is on "ONCE."
If you're recording an event that might run over (for
example, a haseball game), press •
on the Recording
Pop-up to extend the end time of the recording in
5 minute increments

Press RECORD again to confirm your recording.
StarSight will turn on your VCR and begin recording
in a few seconds.

To cancel a recording in progress, press RECORD
again and then press STAR to confirm.

KNOW...
To turn your VCR on and off with the remote control,
press the VCR button, followed by the POWER
button. (See "Programming Your Remote" in the TV
section of this guide.)
Do not press VCR buttons while a StarSight
recording is in progress.
"ONCE" records the current program only, "DAILY"
records the same program every day (M-F), and
"WEEKLY" records it once a week.
