t2 Select Stereo as the Audio option,
Select a desired Enhancement:
Concert Hall, Theater,
Night
Club or Stadium, or set Enhancement to Off.
o Adjust Bass and Treble for the most pleasing sound.
n Select Balance and press the Left/Right arrow key to view the
speaker balance screen.

Press the Up/Down keys to choose the speakers you want to ad-
just; either the front speakers (those in the "IV) or the optional
surround sound speakers.

Press the Left/Right keys to adjust the selected speakers.
Dolby Pro Logic-Normal
Select Dolby Pro Logic-
Normal as the Enhance-
ment.
n Turn on the external ampli-
fier and set its volume to ap-
proximately the same
volume as the TV.
Bass and Treble can not be
adjusted for Pro Logic
Normal.
c_ Select Balance and press the
LefL/Right arrow key to view
the Pro Logic balance screen.
t3 Press the Up/Down keys to
select a speaker (Left, Right
or Surround) to adjust.
t3 A highlight box and an
audible "hissing" sound will
"bounce" between the
selected speaker and the
Center Reference.
Press the Left/Right keys to
set the volume of the
"hissing" (for the selected
speaker) to approximately
the same level as the
"hissing" of the (',enter
Reference.
Do this for each
speaker.
NOTES:
Dolby Pro Logic-Phantom
c_ Select Dolby Pro Logic
Phantom as the
Enhancement.
Adjust Bass and Treble for
the most pleasing sound.
Q Select Balance and press the
Left/Right arrow key to view
the Pro Logic balance screen.
Press the Up/Down keys to
select a speaker (Left, Right
or Surround) to adjust.
n A highlight box and an
audible "hissing" sound will

selected speaker and the
Center Reference.
n Press the Left/Right keys to
set the volume of the
"hissing" (for the selected
speaker) to approximately
the same level as the
"hissing" of the Center
Reference.
Do this for each
speaker,
rn To fully appreciate the quality of sound provided by the Dolby
Pro Logic audio system, make sure the speakers are balanced as
described above.
Q An external
amplifier
must be connected
to use Dolby Pro
Logic- Normal
audio enhancement.

CI While Pro Logic-Normal
is selected,
