Power supply problems

The power does not turn on.
Cause
The battery has run out.
The battery is set
incorrectly.

Image display problems

The image is not displayed.
Cause
The image format is not
supported.
What to do
When the
icon is displayed
on the top right corner of the
LCD, the battery has run out. See
"Charging the battery" on page
14 and charge the battery.
Make sure that the battery is
installed correctly. See
"Installing the battery" on page
13.
What to do
See "Available types of image
files" on page 23 and make sure
the image format is supported.
The image data is broken.
The LCD brightness setting
is too dark.
The battery is set
incorrectly.
The VIDEO cable is
connected to PhotoPC
P-1000.

Image operation problems

Cannot copy.
Cause
The space available on the
HDD is not sufficient to
copy all of the data in the
memory card.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Copy the image again.
See "LCD setting" on page 51
and make sure the LCD
brightness setting is set
properly.
Make sure that the battery is
installed correctly. See
"Installing the battery" on page
13.
Disconnect the VIDEO cable to
display the LCD.
What to do
Delete unnecessary images in
the HDD or reduce the number
of images to copy from the
memory card.
