Cleaning PhotoPC P-1000

To keep your PhotoPC P-1000 operating at its best, you
should clean it thoroughly several times a year. Before
you perform any maintenance on PhotoPC P-1000, be
sure to read the "Safety Instructions" on page 1. Then
follow these guidelines.
Be sure to turn PhotoPC P-1000 off before
cleaning.
Use a clean, dry cloth to keep PhotoPC P-1000 free
of dust.
Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners.
If necessary, clean the battery contacts with a dry
cloth.

Troubleshooting

When a problem occurs, an error message usually
appears in the LCD. Refer to the following section to
solve the problem.

Status and error messages

Error message
A fatal error has occurred.
Cannot continue the
operation.
A fatal error has occurred.
Failed to copy to the
CD-R/RW.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Description
Turn the power off and on
again. If the error message is
displayed again, contact our
Customer Support.
Turn the power off and on
again. If the error message is
displayed again, confirm
that the CD-R/RW and
CD-RW drive are not
malfunctioning.
