Status Monitoring and Statistics
Table 47 describes commands that are used to monitor the status of the switch.
Table 47: Status Monitoring Commands
Command
show log {<priority>}
show log config
show memory {detail}
show switch

Description
Displays the current snapshot of the log. Options
include:
• priority — Filters the log to display message
with the selected priority or higher (more critical).
Priorities include critical, emergency, alert, error,
warning, notice, info, and debug. If not specified,
all messages are displayed.
Displays the log configuration, including the syslog
host IP address, the priority level of messages being
logged locally, and the priority level of messages
being sent to the syslog host.
Displays the current system memory information.
Specify the detail option to view task-specific
memory usage.
Displays the current switch information, including:
• sysName, sysLocation, sysContact
• MAC address
• License
• System mode
• Recovery mode
• DLCS status
• Current time, timezone and boot time
• Scheduled reboot information
• Timed upload, download
• Temperature, fan, and power supply status
• Eware image, config, bootloader, and bootstrap
information including versions currently stored in
the switch
