Burner Caps and Heads
Burner caps
Lift off when rool. _'lsh burner raps
in hot, soapy water and tinse with dean
water. You may scour with a plastic scouting
pad to l'eim)ve burned-on food particles.
After cleaning
Before l}utting the burner raps and heads
back, shake out excess water and then dry
them thoroughly
by setting
in a warm oven
for 30 minutes.
: Electrode
Make sure the slot in the burner head
is positioned over llTeelectrode. Use a
sewing needle or twist-tie to unclog
the small hole in the burner head.
Burner cap is properly seated.
Burner cap is NOTproperly seated.
Center Griddle Burner
For p_)l)er ignition, make sure the
small hole in the section that fits over the
electrode is kept open. A sewing needle
or wire twist-tie works well to unclog it.
The slits in the burner heads must be kept clean
at a// times for an even, unhampered flame.
Clogged or dirty l_ttmer ports or electrodes
will not allow the bt/l]ler to operate pl'oper]}:
Any spill on or around an elertrode Inust
be caretullv dem_ed. Take care to not hit an
electrode with anything hard or it could
be dmuaged.

RoundBurner Bases
The
round burner
bases are not removable.
only the caps may be removed tor demdng.
To dean
the burner bases, rise SOapy w;Iter
and a plastic sc_)ulJng pad. Wipe dean with
a dmnp cloth.
Make sure that no water gets into the
burner bases. _Mlow them to dry tully
betore using.
Replacement
Replace the burner caps. Make sm'e that
the caps are r@ared in the correct
location. There is one o\zd (center) head
and cap assenlb]y. There is one slnall, ()lie
medium, one lm\ge, and one extra lmge
IX)lind btll'nel" c;lp.
To remove burned-on toad, soak the
burner heads in a solution at mild fiquid
detel}gent and hot water tar 20-30 minutes.
For more stubborn stains, use a toothbrush.
NOTE." Donot use steel wool or scouringpowders
to dean the burners.
