encryption. The WNDR3300 router and any connected clients share the same network names
(SSIDs), for both 11N and 11G. Note that WPS is not a new security feature—it makes existing
security features easier to configure.
Note: Using WPS security might disconnect devices you already have connected to your
router. When you add wireless clients, whether or not they are WPS enabled, the
added devices must share the same network names (SSIDs) and security
passphrase. For more information, see

The WNDR3300 router provides two methods for connecting to a wireless client that supports
WPS: push button configuration or PIN entry.

Push Button Configuration

To enable a wireless client to join a network using the menu options in the router's menu:
1. Log in to the router.
2. Select Add WPS Client in the main menu, and click Next.
3. Select the Push Button setup method.

4. Press the dome on the WNDR3300 router for over 5 seconds, or click the
Add WPS Client screen.
The dome lights begin to blink in a regular pattern. While the dome lights are blinking, you
have 2 minutes to enable WPS on the device you are trying to connect to the router.
5. On the wireless client, press the hardware button, or click the button in the Add WPS Client
screen.
