Caution Risk of Injury!
Before adjusting turn the main switch off.
–
Dismantle cutter as described in 3.3.1.
–
Undo screw 1.
–
Replace the static blade and fix it in place so that the longer edge
of the slot is in contact with block 2.
–
Undo threaded pin in block 2.
–
Withdraw bolt 4 and replace the moving blade.
–
Place bolt 4 with spring washer 8 on the moving blade 7 as shown
in the illustration at the right above.
Replace bolt 4 by pressing lightly on the moving blade and tighten
threaded pin.
–
Re-assemble cutter as described in 3.3.1.
–
Switch machine on and test cutter function by pressing button 7.
–
If necessary increase pressure on the moving blade.
–
Undo locking screw 6.
–
Adjust the cylinder height so that the tape channel can pass freely
between the static and moving blades.
The top edge of the moving blade must not project from the needle
plate.
–
Tighten locking screw 6.
–
Adjust tension spring 5 on the cylinder so that after severing the
fabric the moving blade returns to its limit position.
