2.15 Setting the Multiposition Cylinders

Attention!
The spaces of the multiple position cylinders must be cleaned daily.
The multiposition cylinders in their individually extendable stages must
each conduct the same stroke. They are set removed from the
machine.
Following values apply. (Values in mm)

Note
These values were set at the factory with a dial gauge and may not be
changed because it would otherwise not be possible to set the same
crimping values with multiple machines.
Caution Risk of Injury!
Before removing the multiposition cylinders
turn the main switch off.
The gauge set 11 (part no. 0196 002971) can be used for rough
checking.
Remove the multiposition cylinders
Pull the cylinders apart
Insert the gauges left and right between the individual stages.
Stage 1
Gauges 0,225 mm
Stage 2
Gauges 0,450 mm
Stage 3
Gauges 0,900 mm
Stage 4
Gauges 1,800 mm
Stage 5
Gauges 3,600 mm
With a 3 mm Allan key set the stages at the screws 1 to 5
appropriately
