Switching the Animation Display type
( CDA-7998 only )
You can select your favorite animation display from five
types of Pattern3 in "Switching the Display Modes."

Press and hold the SETUP button for at least 3
seconds.

Press the g DN or f UP button to select
ANIMATION mode.

Press the BAND to select your preferred display type.
→ OFF → type1 → type2 → type3 → type4 → type5

Press the SETUP button to return to normal mode.
NOTES
• After you select Pattern3 in "Switching the Display Modes,"
the animation type you selected is shown.
• The initial setting at the factory is OFF.
Setting of Calendar Display Pattern
Switching ( CDA-7998 only )
You can switch the calendar display pattern to be shown
when the time is displayed.

Press and hold the SETUP button for at least 3
seconds.

Press the g DN or f UP button to select the
CALENDER DISPLAY mode.

Press the BAND button to select your preferred display
pattern.
→ mm/dd/yyyy → dd/mm/yyyy → yyyy/mm/dd
yyyy : shows the year in the Christian Era
mm : shows the month
dd : shows the day
ex. dd/mm/yyyy → 25/12/2001

Press the SETUP button to return to normal mode.
