Expression Pedal Calibration; Bank Names - DigiTech GeNetX GNX2 User Manual

1. Press the UTILITY button.The Utility button's LED lights indicating
you are in the Utility section.
2. Using the FX MODE or RHYTHM buttons, scroll to the left or right

3. Rotate the DATA WHEEL to select the threshold setting. Ranges
from 1 to 99 (with 99 requiring more pressure to engage).The sensitivi-
ty may be auditioned while making adjustments. Depending on the status
of the Wah the display reads either

4. Press EXIT to return to the GNX2 presets.

Expression Pedal Calibration

The Expression Pedal on the GNX2 needs to be recalibrated for use after
a factory reset has been performed. This calibration procedure is auto-
matically activated after a factory reset procedure. In the event the pedal's
calibration fails, or if the pedal does not function properly, it can be re-cali-
brated using the Pedal Calibration menu.The procedure for Calibrating the
Expression Pedal is as follows:
1. Press the UTILITY button. The Utility button's LED lights indicating
you are in the Utility section.
2. Using the FX MODE or RHYTHM buttons, scroll to the left or right

3. Press the blinking STORE button to enter the Pedal Calibration Menu.

The display reads (Toe Down).
4. Rock the Expression Pedal all the way forward to the toe down position
and press the blinking number 2 Footswitch.The display changes to
TOE UP
read (toe up).
5. Rock the Expression Pedal all the way back to the toe up position and
press the blinking number 3 Footswitch.
allows you to adjust the V-Switch threshold.
6. Rock the Expression Pedal forward and apply the V-Switch pressure to
the toe of the pedal. If further adjustment to the threshold is required,
use the Data Wheel to select the threshold.
Note: If the Display shows ERROR, an error has occurred and
steps 2 through 5 should be repeated.
7. Press EXIT to return to the GNX2 presets.

Bank Names

The GNX2 lets you customize the names of the 16 User Banks where the
64 User presets reside. Customized Bank names aids in quickly identifying
the User Bank containing the presets you may need for a particular song
or set.The procedure for naming the User Banks is as follows:
1. Press the UTILITY button.The Utility button's LED lights indicating
you are in the Utility section.
2. Using the FX MODE or RHYTHM buttons, scroll to the left or right

until is displayed.
3. Use the DATA WHEEl to select the User Bank you want to rename.
4. Press STORE to access the naming menu.The far left character of the
Bank name begins to blink.
5. Use the DATA WHEEL to select the desired alpha-numeric character.
6. Press the RHYTHM button to select the next character to the right,
and the FX MODE button to select the previous character to the left.
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 until the Bank name appears in the display.
8. Once the Bank name appears correctly in the display, press STORE
namesavd
again. is displayed briefly indicating the Bank name has
been saved, and then new Bank name appears.
9. Press EXIT to return to the GNX2 presets.

Calibración del pedal de expresión
El pedal de expresión del GNX2 debe ser recalibrado tras una reinicial-
ización a los valores de fábrica. Este proceso de calibración se activa
automáticamente tras ese proceso de reset. En el caso de que esta cali-
bración del pedal falle, o si el pedal no funciona correctamente, puede
volverlo a recalibrar usando el menú de calibración del pedal. El proceso
para esta calibración del pedal de expresión es el siguiente:
1. Pulse una vez el botón UTILITY. El LED de este botón se encenderá
para indicarle que está en la sección de utilidades.

3. Pulse el botón parpadeante STORE una vez para acceder al menú de

4. Pise el pedal de expresión totalmente hacia delante hasta que su pun-
tera quede abajo del todo y pulse el parpadeante pedal de disparo 2.
La pantalla cambiará entonces a indicar
5. Pise el pedal de expresión totalmente hacia atrás hasta que su puntera
quede arriba del todo y pulse el parpadeante pedal de disparo 3. La

umbral del V-Switch.
6. Pise a fondo el pedal de expresión y aplique la presión que quiera asig-
nar al V-Switch sobre la puntera del pedal. Si tiene que realizar más
ajustes en este umbral, use la rueda Data para elegir el umbral.
Nota: Si en la pantalla aparece ERROR, es que se ha producido
un error en el proceso y debe repetir los pasos 2 al 5.
7. Pulse el botón EXIT para volver a los Presets del GNX2.
Nombrado de bancos
El GNX2 dispone de la capacidad de personalizar los nombres de los 16 ban-
cos de usuario en los que residen los 64 presets de usuario. Los nombres de
bancos personalizados le ayudan a identificar rápidamente el banco de usuario
que contiene los presets que puede necesitar para una canción o concierto
concreto. El proceso de nombrado de los bancos de usuario es el siguiente:
1. Pulse una vez el botón UTILITY. El LED de este botón se encenderá
para indicarle que está en la sección de utilidades
2. Usando los botones FX MODE o RHYTHM, desplácese a la izquierda
o a la derecha hasta que en la pantalla alfanumérica aparezca
3. Use el dial DATA para elegir el banco de usuario cuyo nombre quiera
cambiar.
4. Pulse el botón STORE para ir al menú de nombrado. El carácter de
más a la izquierda del nombre de banco en la pantalla alfanumérica
comenzará a parpadear.
5. Use la rueda DATA para elegir el carácter alfanumérico que quiera.
6. Pulse el botón RHYTHM para elegir la siguiente posición de carácter a
la derecha, o el botón FX MODE para elegir el carácter anterior.
7. Repita los pasos 5 y 6 hasta que en pantalla tenga el nombre que quiera.
8. Una vez que en la pantalla aparezca el nombre de banco correctamente,
pulse de nuevo el botón STORE. En la pantalla aparecerá brevemente
namesavd
para indicarle que el nombre del banco ha sido almacena-
do, y después volverá al nuevo nombre del banco.
9. Pulse el botón EXIT para volver a los Presets del GNX2.
