5) Hold up the front side of the contact image sensor to slide it to the left (See Figure 3-10,
arrow q, w), remove the hinges, remove the flat cable, then remove the contact image
sensor.

Note: Take care not to touch the glass surface of the contact image sensor, nor lose the
spring that holds the contact image sensor when removing it.
