The
icon is displayed while you
view the phonebook.
If you have Caller Display enabled
on your line and your caller's details
are matched to an entry in the
phonebook then your handset will
ring with the melody selected for
that caller.
Using the phonebook with
additional handsets
If you are using more than one
handset, each handset has a
separate phonebook, so you can
store 50 entries per handset.
Deleting characters/digits
If you make a mistake, press
Cancel storing
Press
once to return to
ADD
ENTRY.
Press
repeatedly to exit.
Entering names
Type the letters shown on the
number buttons by pressing the
corresponding digit. For example,
to enter the name TOM:
Press
for T.
Press
three times for O.
Press
for M.
Press
to enter a space.
The maximum length for names is
12 characters.

Store a phonebook entry

You can use the phonebook to store up to 50 names and
numbers for easy dialling. Each number can be up to 24
digits and each name up to 12 characters long.
1. Press
, then scroll
2. Display shows
3. Enter a name using the keypad (see notes on left), then
press
.
4. Enter the telephone number, then press
You cannot store a name without a number.

5. Select a ringer melody (1 to 10) using

. You hear a confirmation beep.
6. Repeat steps 2 to 5 to add more entries, or keep
pressing

Dial a phonebook entry

1. Press

2. Enter the first letter of the name you want using the
keypad, then scroll to the exact entry using

to dial the number.
