1. Read the safety information beginning on page 125 and "System reliability
considerations" on page 41.
2. Turn off the server and peripheral devices, and disconnect all power cords and
external cables (see "Turning off the server" on page 6); then, remove the
cover (see "Removing the cover and bezel" on page 48).
3. Determine which expansion slot you will use for the adapter.
