Note
•
When [AF-CONTINUOUS] is set, focus prediction will be performed in a possible range to
prioritise the burst speed. Therefore, if you try to take a picture of a subject that is moving fast,
it may have trouble with focusing or it may take time to focus.

•
We recommend using the remote shutter (DMW-RSL1; optional) when you want to keep the
shutter button pressed fully while taking pictures in Burst Mode. Refer to
about the remote shutter.
•
When the Self-Timer is used, the number of recordable pictures in Burst Mode is fixed to 3.
•
If you are following a moving subject while taking pictures in a place (landscape) indoors,
outdoors etc. where there is a large difference between the light and shade, it may take time
until the exposure is stable. If burst is used at this time, the exposure may not become optimal.
•
The burst speed (pictures/second) may become slower depending on the recording
environment such as in dark places, if the ISO sensitivity is high etc.
•
Burst Mode is not cancelled when the camera is switched off.
•
Due to the limited amount of the built-in memory, the use of Burst Mode may be limited. We
recommend having an SD card installed for reliable Burst Mode operation.
•
If you take pictures in Burst Mode with the built-in memory, it will take time to write the picture
data.
•
[Œ] is set for the flash when burst is set.
•
Auto Bracket, White Balance Bracket or Multi Film Bracket is cancelled when Burst is
set.
•

•
You cannot set [STABILIZER] to [AUTO] or [MODE2] when burst is set.
•
[AF-CONTINUOUS] cannot be selected in [FIREWORKS] in Scene Mode or when recording

•
[AF-CONTINUOUS] does not work when using AF lock.
•
Face Recognition information is attached only to the first picture of the burst during recording
with face recognition. (However, the whole group is treated as Face Recognition pictures
during [CATEGORY PLAY].)
