2. Press the
(POWER) button on the projector cabinet
or the POWER ON button on the remote control.
The POWER indicator will turn to blue and the projector
will become ready to use.
TIP:
• When the message "PROJECTOR IS LOCKED! ENTER YOUR
PASSWORD." is displayed, it means that the [SECURITY]
feature is turned on. (→ page 42)
• When the ECO message is displayed, it means that [ON] is
selected for [ECO MESSAGE]. (→ page 119)
After you turn on your projector, ensure that the computer
or video source is turned on.
NOTE: The logo screen ([LOGO] background) is displayed when no
signal is being input (by factory default menu settings).

Performing Lens Calibration

After installation or replacement of the lens, be sure to perform
[CALIBRATION] by pressing and holding the ORIENTATION
button for at least two seconds. Calibration corrects the ad-
justable zoom and focus range. If calibration is not performed,
you may not be able to get the best focus and zoom even if
you adjust the focus and zoom for the lens.
• The following lenses need calibration:
NP16FL, NP17ZL, NP18ZL, NP19ZL, NP20ZL, NP21ZL
