Register the encryption key you have arranged with the receiving system.
(Refer to Registering an Encryption Key on page 5-60.) When an
encryption key has already been registered, go to the next step.

Press the Send key.

Place the originals.

Press [FAX No. Entry].

Use the numeric
keys to enter fax
number of the other
party, and press
[Encrypted
Transmission].
NOTE:
When encrypted transmission has been set to a destination in the
Address Book or One-touch keys, you can use the destination.

Press [On] and
select the encryption
key number.

Press [OK] and go to step 10. When the selection of an encryption box is
required by the other party, press [Encryption Box] and go to the next step.
NOTE:
When the machine receives originals, the encryption box is not
used.
Ready to send.
Enter Destination.

Print faxes on bo th sides
