Phone settings
FDN mode
(Menu 9.6.7)
FDN (Fixed Dial Number) mode, if supported by
your SIM card, allows you to restrict your outgoing
calls to a limited set of phone numbers.
The following options are available:
Disable: you can call any number.
Enable: you can only call phone numbers stored in
Phonebook. You must enter your PIN2.
Note: Not all SIM cards have a PIN2. If your SIM card
does not, this menu does not display.
Change PIN2
(Menu 9.6.8)
The Change PIN2 feature allows you to change your
current PIN2 to a new one. You must enter the
current PIN2 before you can specify a new one.
Once you have entered a new PIN2, you are asked
to confirm it by entering it again.
Note: Not all SIM cards have a PIN2. If your SIM card
does not, this menu does not display.

You can turn the automatic redialling or answering
features on or off.
To turn a feature
Press the
on
key or Mark soft key. A
check mark displays in front
of the option.
off
key or Unmark soft key.
The check mark no longer
displays.
The following options are available:
Auto redial: when this option is checked, the
phone makes up to ten attempts to redial a phone
number after an unsuccessful call.
Note: The interval between attempts varies.
Active slider: when this option is checked, you can
simply push the slider up to answer a call.
When it is unchecked, you must push the slider up
and press a key to answer a call, depending on the
setting of the Anykey answer option.
Anykey answer: when this option is checked, you
can answer an incoming call by pressing any key,
except the
key or the Reject soft key. To reject
the call, press the
key or the Reject soft key.
When this option is unchecked, you must press the
key or Accept soft key to answer a call.
