Entering Text
Typing a word using the linguistic dictionary
(Forward prediction)
1. Enter the first character of the word you want.
2. You will see a word starting with the first
character you enter in the word prediction box
at the bottom of the display.
3. If that word is correct, go to step 4.
Alternatively, press the Up or Down key to
search the word you want to enter.
4. Press the key to select it.
Example: To enter (
+ ) using the linguistic dictionary,
press the 1, 1, 6, (toggles the page),
, 2, 6, 4, 9, and 2 keys. Then, you will
see the desired word

Typing characters in Neopad Tamil mode
1. Press a corresponding key to access the virtual
keypad that contains a character you want. The
characters with numbers from 1 to 5 will appear
in the virtual keypad at the bottom of the
display.
If you want to know which key is assigned to
which Tamil characters group, see the table of
"List of the characters available in Tamil" on
page 56.
2. Press the number key to select the
corresponding character, or press the
toggle the virtual keypad page to Virama.
Note: When you enter a character, you will see the
predicted word on the word prediction box at
the bottom of the display. If you want to know
about this input method, see the page 58.
Otherwise, repeat above steps to enter other
characters.
